SJL’s old site boxed them in as a carpentry-and-odd-jobs outfit, which massively undersold what they were actually doing for clients. The layout was basic, the messaging was transactional and the whole thing felt like a service directory.

The Strategy
The new identity needed to translate Sam's deep, personal philosophy, that "Every site carries potential, sometimes hidden, sometimes obvious, always worth uncovering" into a visual and verbal language that was both professional enough to win major contracts and personable enough to connect with homeowners, effectively bridging the gap between the two distinct service offerings.







The new brand identity immediately positioned Seven as a credible, expert voice, allowing Sam to confidently pitch for all project types. To achieve a look that was aspirational yet approachable, the design utilised natural textures, timeless typography and earthy tones that invite exploration. This elevated visual identity attracts high-value clients and ensures the brand stands out in the market, transforming Sam's passion into a professional business he is proud to share.
